"Nothing personal, just doing my job", was Manny's words during interview.
And indeed a job well done...to the dismay of others who expects to see more and perhaps maybe even expecting for the contender to retain his title.
He may not (sometimes) hit the right answer but he can certainly hit the right spot when he landed the perfect left jab to Ricky "the ---hit---knockdown man now---" Hatton.
The southern fist prove to the World that he mean business when his coach/trainor predicted a third round knockout, Manny did his in second round with a "wrath from down south" the ultimate annihilation machine.
You are the Man---'D' Pacman --- no longer just a Mexicutioner --- you're the show stopper!
You are truly the man who delivers the "kamao ng south Cotabato"...from New York and New Jersey, your cousin Amador de Castro and friends are so proud of you.
Congratulations, you deserve to be called the Champ!

Manny Pacquiao posted his 49th career win when he finished off Ricky Hatton in just 359 seconds.
Manny’s
interview account of the fight; “I didn’t expect a short fight. He hit me hard,
I was lucky to have hit him with a right hook. He was surprised with my right
hand. Yes, he was strong, and I was careful of not being hit”.
Computer
Statistics showed that Pacquiao lands a total of 73 of 127 punches, while
Hatton 18 of 78.
Hatton
got knocked down in the first round, this is the first time in the British
fighter’s career that he was sent to the floor at an early round. Hatton’s
parents were in shock.
With that
staggering speed Hatton quickly realizes that speed can kill.
Also
realizing that Manny’s right punches are packed not only with speed but
devastating blow as well, he seemed to have changed his tactics to intimate ball
room dancing instead (hug the opponent tight). To his disappointment, Manny was
never trained to dance, so he’s not a happy partner, he decided to call the
night off (plus---there’s few very good reasons why ---check in the bottom of
this writing).
Manny
throws a left punch that landed in the gloves of Hatton with enough jolt that
shook Hatton’s body out of balance and his brain cells running for cover.
Hatton
was actually saved by the bell on the first round.
On the
second round, while the crowd was cheering…the advertisers we’re begging ---
please don’t let it end --- just yet!
They probably saw that Manny is ready to terminate the fight because he
didn’t like the way Hatton hug him tight, nakikiliti siya (he’s ticklish…you
know!).
Although,
Hatton was acting unfazed and aggressive back on the second round --- he is obviously
concerned about which side of Manny’s fist to avoid, he thought that he’s
calloused face would have enough pads built to protect him from blows…but for Manny, it was just like a mushy bun. He probably
remembered when he was practicing his punches back in the old days while
working in a scrap metal yard in the Philippines, while training for local gig
fights.
The
wrath from down south was evident when Hatton was sent down to the floor for a
while, the second time during the second round (the referee actually bought
sometime for him as he push Manny away a little bit).
Hatton
who seems to be slower than Pacquiao is now struggling to protect himself from
the faster Pacquiao. Hatton wants a close-quarter fight (ballroom dance
technique) but Pacquiao maintains his distance (we now know that he’s ticklish).
Pacquiao KOs Hatton with a few seconds left in the 2nd round. Hatton is badly
hurt.
Crowd
continued to cheer louder and louder while the events marketing staff was
disappointed about the short fight. Darn that’s it! Finito? Can we do it
again??? Is all they can say.
Hatton
probably spent more time down on the floor and trying to get up than his actual
time spent fighting Manny.
To recap what happened --- because that seems to be the question lingering in the face of Ricky – the annihilated hitman --- while he was trying to gather his sense back as he lays on the floor being checked by his staff and the fight Doc.

Here’s Top Five (speculative) reasons
why Manny ended the fight so abruptly!!!
5. So that Filipinos, especially the politicians can all go back to work instead of spending time in front of the TV.
4. It’s too loud inside the MGM arena.
3. He couldn’t stand the Ricoa Ads printed behind his shorts (butt).
2. He’s got a new Extreme magic sing and couldn’t wait to try belting his favorite songs.
1. He needs to pee so badly!
P.S. This is just pure speculation from the writer --- no pun intended --- intiendes!
